Weekly Photo Challenge: Nostalgia on the Brain

The train ride to Venice…two perspectives.
The train ride was not too long around about 6 hours…but the girls couldn’t wait for it to be over. My hubby took the time to enjoy the passing scenery. Now the adventures once we got to Venice that’s another story!
The night life is lively and the seamless connection of past and present make a visit to this beautiful city— priceless.

  1. judsartwork – Mindarie, Western Australia – I write reviews of Adventure and Hidden Object games that are Crime, Fantasy, SciFi, Renovation, Travel, Quest and/or Mystery by genre. I have a Masters in Writing (2006) and have been writing novels, both crime and fantasy for many years; plus Haiku, verse, and prose both fictional and literary. I am also an artist of modern, Acrylic, textural and hard edge work, underwater, fantasy, expressionist, and Cosmos paintings. I use mixed media (Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastels) in textural Monoprints, finding surprises to expose within each work. Having both an analytical and creative mind has meant that I have strong powers of observation, and the persistence required to follow computer problems through till I solve them. Of course I am not always successful, but am willing to ask for a little help in order to then unlock the main problem myself. My Troubleshooting Blog, 'Problems and Solutions', was the result of my tenacity.

Hi Busanee, Great to see you back again! 😀
I’m a bit stretched thin as I’m busy preparing paintings to put into shows; teaching art at home; teaching piano at home; and trying to get my game review and creative writing blogs done as well. Oh not to mention trialling games to write reviewson – they take up heaps of time. My list of Rejected games is growing daily, so I squeeze them all on a blog at a time – you know – Part 1, Part 2, etc I have piles of notes on games and can’t see how I am ever going to get them posted. Sigh . . .
Hope you are well and settled in now, though this last blog looks like you are once again on the move?

      Hi Jud,
wow you are one busy bee. That is a lot of work to take on. I hope your creative writing is not put too far on the back burner. Unfortunately this last blog is just that “nostalgia” from a time in my life that I never dreamed that would be a part of my life story. I am still in Texas and settling well. I too have a busy load as I am now working full time and going to school( bleh). I took some time off to concentrate on my writing but school will begin again shortly. I loved hearing from you! May we never lose touch! 🙂
